Tallinn- Turku Capitals of Culture kayak expedition.

In 2011 Tallinn and Turku are Capitals of Culture. Group of Estonian and Finnish kayakers decide to join this two cities by kayaking from Tallinn to Turku. Expedition starts in 17 –th of July at 13:00 and lasts about ten days. Distance is about 300 km.

Tallinn- Turku kayak expedition is in official programme of Tallinn 2011 Capital of Culture.

Trip is special because no one ever covered distance between two Capitals of Culture with kayaks. It is possible for Estonia and Finland being neighbor countries and having common culture and maritime.

Tallinn and Turku are old Hanseatic cities and also known after their famous ports, sea castles and islands.
